Visitor activity developed from boat tours of the 'Dells' themselves, to water shows on the river, to water parks on the banks, to indoor water parks for year-round enjoyment. Today, the Dells is home to several of the largest indoor water parks in the world.

The Broadway Dinner Theatre presents fine food accompanied by multi-million dollar musical productions with first-rate talent. Its vocal stars, world-class instrumentalists and mesmerizing dance troupe create a night of unforgettable entertainment.
Lake of the Dells is just minutes from a five-star, 27-hole designed course called Trapper's Turn. Rated at 135 and 136, its courses are challenging for good players but also playable and fun for all. Two-time U.S. Open Champion Andy North collaborated with noted course architect Roger Packard to carve these holes where glaciers once ruled.
Christmas Mountain Golf offers 18- and nine-hole courses just 15 minutes from Lake of the Dells. These courses are a great play for golfers of all abilities.
Wild Rock Golf Course will open in Spring 2008. The Dells' newest course is designed by Hurdzen/Fry, creators of some of the most highly praised contemporary courses in North America. Its companion executive nine-hole course, Wilderness Woods, is a longtime favorite for those seeking a quick round.
Less than an hour away are the famed courses of Green Lake, Lawsonia's woods and links courses and Tuscumbia, Wisconsin's oldest course. In another direction one finds Golf Digest's 4 1/2 star, 27-hole The House on the Rock Resort Course.
Sundara Spa has been called one of the Top 25 Spas in America by Travel + Leisure. ABC Good Morning America named it the #3 Favorite Spa Escape in America. From Lake of the Dells, it is a short drive.

Players enjoy Las Vegas-sized action at the Ho-Chunk Casino, about 30 minutes south of Lake of the Dells.
Family downhill skiing is a half hour south of the Dells at Cascade Mountain (460' vertical, 34 runs) or Devil's Head (500' vertical, 28 runs), or less than two hours north of Lake of the Dells at Granite Peak (700' vertical, 74 runs), with its 265 skiable acres. Lake of the Dells itself and hundreds of nearby Wisconsin DNR acres are available for exhilarating cross-country skiing.
And at the end of your visit into the Dells, or nearby attractions, you can return to the natural beauty and stillness of Lake of the Dells.
From Lake of the Dells there are innumerable fun day trips to take in every direction. For instance, The House on the Rock and Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio in Spring Green, the cultural offerings of Madison, the Swiss Colony at New Glarus, and many more are an easy drive from Lake of the Dells.
